NXLog Performance details

Post by billy_strath »

I have been asked to provide assurances that the performance of the domain controllers will not be negatively impacted by installing NXLog on them, to forward logs to Nagios Log Server. Obviously NXLog is pretty much industry standard but I need something concrete to show them. We are planning on filtering at the DC end and only forwarding certain events. Can anyone point me towards such assurances on performance?

Thanks

I can say I haven't come across any instances where a domain controller's performance has been negatively impacted by nxlog however with it being a third party solution, I'd recommend checking out the forums at https://nxlog.co/community-forum.
