Force check and passive service

Post by steph007 »

Hi,

I have seen this post with answer that do not satisfy me:
https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... =7&t=24224
Since the post is old, maybe there is real solution now.

I have the exact same issue.

When my Unxi team fix multiple problems on multiple Hosts, they use the force check on all services to force a check to make sure that they did fix the problem. But passive service with Freshness become in Warning at that moment saying (because my check_dummy set that to warning). Is it possible to avoid such situation? Is is possible to tell Nagios to not force a check on passive?

This behavior is still the same. Instead of forcing all the checks with the single link, the active services could be forced automatically via the UI or using external commands(https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... and_id=129) to work around it.
