Hi team,
we are currently monitor more then 1600 node on our Nagios XI server which is on azure cloud with 16 core & 32 GB ram.
but we are frequently getting too much load on this server so we are planning to segregate application & DB(mysql) on two server.
so can you please share prerequisite plane for this activity with document.
also share information about existing DB (mysql) & Application connectivity & how they are communicating.
apart from that if we segregate app & DB my existing license will work properly or not.
This is very critical activity so could you please share all step from beginning to end which will be very helpfull for us.

You might want to look into mod_gearman also to distribute your checks to worker nodes...

Unilizing a RAM disk in Nagios XI would be a very important step for boosting performance. I would recommend that you do that if you haven't done it already.
