Hi! I'm having the same issue as: https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... ng+unknown
It has no update since end of november.
Current version: 5.5.1
Extract from the BPI.log
Error: Can't find the host: ctelpsa018, check configuration for group: 'Windows-Servers'
This also cause the /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/cmdsubsys.log to grow (2TB) and fill /usr with a ton of PHP warnings.
PHP Warning: preg_match(): Unknown modifier 'J' in /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/components/nagiosbpi/functions/get_config_string.inc.php on line 69
Thanks
BPI config missing object
Re: BPI config missing object
Do you see the ctelpsa018 host under Configure > Core Config Manager > Monitoring > Hosts ? If it is not listed there then you can add it there or edit the BPI config file and remove it from the Windows-Servers Group.

Re: BPI config missing object
Tried that before. Get this error when I try to remove the deleted hosts and save the hostgroup in BPI.
Error: Unable to find group in config file, no changes made.

Re: BPI config missing object
Can you PM me a copy of the bpi.conf both pre and post edit? Also provide the BPI version found under Admin > System Extensions > Manage Components > Nagios BPI.

Re: BPI config missing object
