Nagios Support Forum

Good afternoon,
We are working on getting the Nagios agent deployed to a few Windows and Linux servers in our environment. Are there any specific commands we can use to make sure they are reporting in properly. As well is there a way to tell in the gui if an agent is checking in properly.

What agent are you deploying? Many are actively checked from Nagios and do not "report in", but Nagios gets results when it performs a check.

This would be seen in the Nagios UI where the last check time is within the last few minutes.
