Admin > Manage Users > Last Login time not updating
In Admin menu, Manage Users.
I have noticed on a new clean setup where I have made 2 users that the login time is not updating.
The user is setup as an Active Directory Auth Type. The Last Login column is not updating when I login / logout.
The Nagios XI version was a 5.5.7 install, just now upgraded to 5.5.8
The information does not update for either version.
Suggestions?
Thanks
Steve B

Re: Admin > Manage Users > Last Login time not updating
Steve, I noticed that when you masquerade as a user, the "Last Login" time doesn't get updated, however if you actually log in as this user, the "Last Login" time gets updated. At least this is what I am seeing on my test XI box. Can you confirm this?

Re: Admin > Manage Users > Last Login time not updating
Have not used Masquerade on these new systems yet. I have not notice that nor looked for it previously.
I came to my attention now as I only have 2 users defined.
I will look and test again after our holiday break. Will be gone for 2 weeks.
Thanks
Steve B

Re: Admin > Manage Users > Last Login time not updating
I just logged in to a new server. Checked for the time stamp. Nothing...
So what next?

Re: Admin > Manage Users > Last Login time not updating
@SteveBeauchemin, I tried experimenting with LDAP/Active Directory users in the lab and the Last Login timestamp was correctly updating. Please sign in to XI a couple times with an LDAP user and then send in your system profile so that I can review it.
To send us your system profile. Login to the Nagios XI GUI using a web browser.
Click the "Admin" > "System Profile" Menu
Click the "Download Profile" button
Save the profile.zip file and send it in a private message.
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.

Re: Admin > Manage Users > Last Login time not updating
I just did a quick test and had no login information. But...
We use the DUO 2FA. I turned that off and did a logout and login and the time stamp updated.
I will send profile shortly.
Thanks
Steve B

Re: Admin > Manage Users > Last Login time not updating
I think you found a bug. Can you update the duo component to the attached to verify that the last login updates correctly.
Thanks
