Failure Predicted
Hi there,
I am trying to identify the best solution for having NAGIOSCore 4 detect the health on the HD's on 3 different hypervisors. I am running into trouble because these are Dell PowerEdge servers, when I login to the Server Manager it will list Failure Predicted: Yes on hard drives that need to be replaced. But Nagios Core is reporting the Global Health as *green* / or healthy as it will not report until they fail.
Has anyone encountered this? What are the best ways I could accomplish this?
Appreciate any help or support as I am new to Nagios!
Chris

I found this, I suspect this will be the winner but I am not positive.

A little trial an error may be necessary to find out what plugin will work best. Which one are you using now?
The link you provided may work and would be easy enough to test. Just download the script onto the Nagios machine, make it executable, and run it.
There are other plugins and even an official one from Dell if this one doesn't do the trick.

We have the Open_manage plugin currently installed. I have been reading on how to configure it to do this here:
