/var/lib/mrtg/192.168.111.111_1.rrd does not exist

Hi,

I am currently testing Nagios XI for my company. I got caught up with other things so my trial expired so I decided to install a new copy of the Nagios XI VM and restore the hosts I had previously setup on to it.

I backed up all the config files and restored them and then imported the files into Nagios XI. All host and services are now being monitored again and also appear in the Nagios XI Core Configuration Manager.

The problem is that none of my bandwdith monitoring services are working - error /var/lib/mrtg/192.168.111.111_1.rrd does not exist. Is there any way to get this working without deleting the services and running the wizard again?

You could try and copy these files over, though I'm not vary pleased to hear that it would be trivial to continue using the trial version.

Please consider restarting your trial from scratch in this situation.

Hi,

I started again with a fresh VM from the Nagios Library - counting down from 60 days again.

I ended up having to delete the bandwidth monitoring services and creating them again using the wizard.
