Report seems slow

Post by Bitflogger »

Hello, I'm running v5.5.8, 64-bit, VM, CentOS 7, 8 CPUs, 12GB memory, load is usually under 2.0

An availability report, for a single server, single service (checked every 5 minutes), for a 24 hour time period, took 1 minute 33 seconds to respond.

This seems slow. A BPI problem was fixed in a previous case by increasing the default memory for the PHP task, could this be the same problem?

Hi @Biflogger,

Can you run one of the availability report and while it is running, provide the output or a screenshot of top command for us to review? The report is generated using avail.cgi.

Hi @Bitflogger,

Please PM your system profile ( go to Admin > System Profile > Download Profile)? Additionally, please run the following and PM the support.txt file as well.

Code: Select all

ls -Rlh /usr/local/nagios/var > /tmp/support.txt
Thank you.

Hello,

What does PM mean?

How is system information protected from public access?

Hi @Bitflogger

Sorry about the confusion, PM means private message.

Hi @Bitflogger,

On the right side of the screen, just below my name you'll see a PM icon. Click that and it will allow you to compose a direct message with attachments.

You can also click on my name as well.

OK, I submitted one file. How long do I have to wait to submit the second?
