Upgrade to 5.5.11 failed even if it seems successful

Post by saber »

Hi,

Upgrade from the web interface finished with a warning message saying it failed however the logs seem to say otherwise

Code: Select all

Total Warnings: 953
Total Errors:   0

Things look okay - No serious problems were detected during the pre-flight check
> Return Code: 0

Stopping nagios: .done.
Starting nagios: done.
Stopping httpd: [  OK  ]
Starting httpd: httpd: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using XXX.domain.com for ServerName
[  OK  ]
No entry for terminal type "unknown";
using dumb terminal settings.

Hi @saber,

We are aware of this issue and this may happen when a file has changed on the system during the upgrade process. If go to the home page then back to Admin > Check for Updates, it should be reporting that your system is up-to-date ( and was updated successfully ).

If you like, you can upload the log file /usr/local/nagiosxi/tmp/upgrade.log, and I can review the log.
