Switch Licence for Nagios xi

Team,

We have licence to run three instance of Nagios xi. Currently, we are running 1 out of three for our Test server IP ending with 162. We have other two for pre-prod and prod which is yet to be commissioned.

While chatting with online sales agents(Paul Singh, if I recall correctly), I learned that I can use the second licence for another Test server. Once the PoC is over, I can switch it for Pre-prod.

Please confirm if my understanding is correct.

@anilgupta, That sounds right. When purchasing a single license of Nagios XI we do provide you with three separate installs: one production, one back-up/failover, and one testing & development. As long as you are only using one at a time for monitoring, alerting, and reporting you should be fine.
