Government use - Common Criteria?

Hello. We're interested in using Nagios on a project where the customer is requesting Common Criteria listing. We're not finding Nagios listed, but believe that others in government are already using the product.

Can anyone share how they have justified product acquisition w/o a common criteria listing?

You might want to contact [email protected] and see if they have any insights on this as well. We have several government customers, so they might have some clues on this.

@mguthrie: That was my first attack vector.. They punted to this forum.

I specifically asked for reference accounts in the USG sector, DoD, etc. and was told no go.

So, I'm hoping that there are some USG/DoD customers on this forum that could help. Speaking of which, I'm open to private reply via PM.

You may be able to get a response from someone on the forum. As mguthrie said, we have several government customers but isn't something that we would be able to reveal, they would have to come forward...
