NagiosXI Email notification

Hi All,

I have setup NagiosXI & the set the web interface for 2 servers. The web interface shows the status for the servers.

Now, I would like to setup the email notification whenever hosts get down. Could anybody guide me whether this should be done only with configuration on webGUI only or there is any setup requires on nagios VM interface.

Does any email account related setup needed on virtual machine.?

You would only need to use the console/shell if directed to do so by us or one of our tutorials. All the options you are talking about are dove via the Web interface.
