Planing for setting up nagioslogserver in production in HA

Post by strmon »

Hi support,

I am planning to implement cross site HA for nagioslog server solution. Could you please help me what details i should be asking with customer as part of preparing solution, please.

Customer is looking for a logging solution with geo-redundant , HA mode with auto fail over.
Also,
Suggest how to calculate hardware requirement and licencing involved.

Below details are known as moment:
: Solution must support geo-redundancy
: Solution must support HA (active/passive)
: Solution will hold 6 month of system logs and security logs (no application logs)
: Solution will be integrated with Monitoring system for critical situations

Hi @strmon,

It sounds like you are a reseller. I would recommend getting in touch with one of our pre-sales engineers (email: [email protected].) as they can answer any application and licensing related questions. We also offer a free quick start to help new customers get started with Nagios products.
