Concurrent Traps

Post by parisa »

Hi,

I have about 1000 hosts that check as passive check, but I faced with a problem:
two fault traps have been received at a moment for a host and a service and next second recovery of the traps have been received. ( I observed this traps in snmptt.log)
But in nagios service status and service history, just have been shown first fault trap and second recovery trap.
would you please guide me in case?

BR.
Parisa

Normally state changes are only logged if the host/service changes state

If you want to log items even if the state doesn't change, you would want to turn on stalking for the host/service in
CCM -> host/service -> Edit -> Alert settings -> Stalking options
