CCM : reverting Changes before Applying Configuration

Hi Team,

Unfortunately, Sometimes we end up with deleting important config Host/Service in CCM,
In this case, if I've not applied configurations, then is it possible for me to revert deleted Host/Service ? As I've not Applied any configuration changes yet.

• Incident happened with me:
  1. I've deleted one host [host XY] unknowingly. [Don't know how it got deleted, whereas there are Services in dependencies]
  2. Now, when i entered CCM next time, It's asking me to Apply config changes made Previously.
  3. Since Dependencies are not resolved, So Apply Config throws error, That service group x has not able to find host XY, [as it is deleted in step 1]
  4. Since, I've not Committed CCM changes by Apply Configuration options.
  5. So, here i expect, the Changes [deletion of host XY] should get reverted.

Yes.

Configure -> CCM -> Configuration Snapshots
Select the latest good configuration and click the "restore" icon
Click Ok

The CCM DB will be restore to the point where it was at the time of the last successful Apply Configuration
