Dashboard Creation Doc

Is there an actual document that shows how to make dashboards, add items to it, resize them, tie them to data sources? The Admin document is very good. Getting data into the tool is good. But once the data is there you need to see it. Help me see it please.

I am trying to migrate from ELK to NLS and would like to read a document on making visualizations. I'm not looking to watch a video. Seen enough videos. I like to read.

Thanks

Steve B

Thanks Scott, that'll work. Understanding what to click to add items and make a dashboard was the basic thing I was asking for.

Is it possible to add other visualizations? Or modify existing visualizations to improve the look and feel?

For example, if I just want a 'totals' number displayed, what I get is left/top justified. I would like it to be center/center justified in the frame. Some simple refinements like that would be nice. Is that possible? I have not looked under the covers for that.

Thanks

As of now unfortunately we do not have any method to create customization for the panels.

I will note the panels are stored in /var/www/html/nagioslogserver/www/app/panels/ but at present these will be over-written on upgrade.

Thanks for the info. I have just now started on the learning path for NLS. Should be fun.
