hi Team,
we have a single nagios server (149.24.xx.xx) which is hosted on Pennsylvania datacenter(current location) running as virtual machine on Vmware esxi and now we are moving to the other datacenter (Virginia location which could be 172.xx.xx.xx ip range) on the Vmware esxi.
Could you please provide me the best and safe way to migrate our nagios servers with minimal downtime.
thanks
Sunil kathait

Re: NagiosXi machine migration from one datacenter to the ot
I would upgrade your current system to the latest verison of XI
Install a new VM in the new location (preferably the same OS and version) and install the latest version of XI.
Then follow the backup/restore procedure in this doc
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf
Finally with the new system up, update the URL's in Admin -> System Settings on the new system if they used the old IP address.
