How to manually edit and clone XI Reports

Post by dlukinski »

Hello XI Support Team

Is there a way to manually edit and clone reports w/o using the GUI?
- using one is painfully slow when re-creating reports (take 3-4 hours to re-run and re-create 6-8 reports)
- we are having close to a hundred and will have a lot more with rather similar approach except for the host/service groups and SLA % being different. Any way to clone the file (if exist) and edit them directly?

Thank you

Hi @dlukinski,

Currently, it's not possible to edit reports from the command line. However, we are planning to create a new report management system in Nagios XI 6. If you'd like, I can submit your request to the development team.
