Hi
Do you have any docs that can teach end-users (noc level 1)
These are people that are not admins that were hired to watch and respond to nagios situations.
I'm finding these expect me to write wiki pages that explain the difference between durations and attempts, the reason of color coding, and other simple concepts that apparently need to explained in extreme detail
I tried googling nagios for dummies, and nagios training, and looking at your youtube channel but everything seems geared to an admin, and not to a level 1 person.
Are there any level one resources?
thank you in advance
Jen

Hi Jen,
In the Help section in the Nagios XI interface, you'll find links the the user guide ( and administration guide as well).
Nagios XI User Guide
In addition to that, there are a number for useful videos for the non-administrator such as the Introduction to Nagios Xi Webinar as well as the following:
How Nagios XI Works
Start Reporting In Nagios XI
Understanding and Using Dashboards in Nagios XI
Core Config Manager - How it Works
Nagios Xi Using Different Notification Methods
The Difference Between Alerts and Notifications
Nagios XI Reporting and Graphing Series Tutorials
Also, the Nagios Core documentation is very helpful for understanding monitoring terminology and concepts.
