Bandwith Monitoring

I am using Nagios Core and am looking for the plugin for bandwidth monitoring as well as a possible how to guide. as in what flatfiles do I put it in and where I put the command.

Typically, MRTG is used with Nagios to monitor bandwidth on a switch or router. I've included a few links below to help get you started, and let me know if you have any specific questions.

The plugin check_rrdtraf can be configured to alert on incoming and outgoing levels.
