PerfData not processed

I deleted old files and directory no longer monitored
/usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata/
I left all the currently monitored dir/files
So Im sure I broke this...

Ramdisk install Jan 2019

Issue started today
File count growing on ramdisk perfdata - not being processed. No perfdata at all showing, worked earlier today.
rebooted
restarted various services, check manual ramdisk setup to validate paths have not changed.

turned on debug to 2

When did the Nagios server stop processing peformance graphs? Was this before or after making changes to the pefdata directory?

Login to the Nagios XI GUI using a web browser.
Click the "Admin" > "System Profile" Menu
Click the "Download Profile" button
Save the profile.zip file and share in a private message or upload it to the post/ticket, and then reply to this post to bring it up in the queue.

if was afterward. The graph link disappeared for everything.

I had turned performance data checks off after this post for fear of filling the ramdisk/perfdata, and went on to other work.

After a couple of hours I noticed the graph link was back and when selected showed the history.

Turned the perf checks back on and everything was processing again.

All is well.

Dont understand what happened or why but you can close this, unless you would like some other infor....

Thanks for the update. The files may have spooled up temporarily after deleting the old files, and delayed the processing of performance data.

Anyhow, happy to hear it's working again.

I'll go ahead a close this thread, but feel free to open another if you have any new questions.
