I just installed check_telnet.pl and i tried to test i am getting

Can't call method "close" on an undefined value at ./check_telnet.pl line 120.

Any ideas..

Not sure where this plugin came from as it is not part of the Nagios Plugins package, so we are unfamiliar with it.

You may want to look for the author who would be better suited to answer the question
