Dear Customer Support!
Is it possible somehow to upgrade Nagios XI 5.4.11 to the latest one without installing
shellinabox and any other packages available only in Redhat EPEL repository?
Our security expert do not want me to use these packages if any other workaround exists.
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Zoltan Patalenszki

Hello Zoltan,
In the latest version of Nagiso XI, there is an option to disable the SSH terminal in the Security Settings ( Admin> System Config> System Settings > Security ).
As far as disabling the other packages from EPEL, that's going to break the install script. At that point, you may want to consider an offline install as a workaround.
