Is it possible to only backup NagiosXI configuration without backup useless history data?
if yes, when restore, is it the same process?

Hello @xpertech,
Nagios XI will automatically backup configuration files when you make changes and you can download them as well. Go to Admin > Monitoring Config > Config Snapshots.
