Linux SNMP configuration throwing error

Post by deek »

Hi ,

We have instrumented monitoring for appliances using Linux SNMP wizard.

we are getting error. "ERROR: Description/Type table : No response from remote host "172.xxx.xxx.xx".
Linux MiB has been installed on the target appliaces.

SNMP version is 2
Community string is : igprd
Ports 161 and 162 are open.

Sample Command: check_xi_service_snmp_linux_storage! -C igprd --v2c -m "^/$" -w 80 -c 95 -f

Thanks
Deepan

You can close this case. since we found its because of change in community string.
