Ability to set global notification variable

Hi Guys,

I had raised this a long time back and wanted to know how far are we from the ability to set/update notifications for all users, its great that now we have some very useful notification variable like author name etc. but if I cant push it out it will never get used!!!!!!!! :cry: , also how far is 2012 I was hoping to see something new begining of the year :)

Sorry about reposting this but we really need the ability to push the notification variables or set some default template which then users can modify.

I put this on my TODO. You're not the only person to ask about this, and the feature is a good idea. 2.4 went out yesterday, but we'll see if we can get it into 2.5 (no promises though).

also how far is 2012 I was hoping to see something new begining of the year :)
It's coming along, we're currently figuring some stuff out for the new licensing stuff for 2012, and finishing up a few more features to it.
