Hi Support,
Please help:

My problem:
I never get host down alerts
I do get service down/unreachable/unknown alerts for these hosts.

Check interval: 1
Retry interval: 1
Max check attempts: 1
Active checks enabled: On (greyed out)
Alert Settings:
Manage Contacts: I have the required email id's
Notification Options: Down/Unreachable/Recovery/Flapping are greyed out (On)
Notification interval: 1
Notification enabled: On
### My configuration for serives that are being monitored on these hosts ###
Check Command: check_xi_service_nsclient
$USER1$/check_nt -H $HOSTADDRESS$ -s "$ARG1$" -p 12489 -v $ARG2$ $ARG3$ $ARG4$
Check Settings
Check interval: 1
Retry interval: 1
Max check attempts for services being monitored on these hosts
--> for c drive: 20
--> mem usage: 10
--> CPU usage: 20
--> ping: 1
--> uptime: 60
Active checks enabled: On (greyed out)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I went to reports > under (Legacy Reports) clicked on Notifications and on that page I can see all hosts along with the type of notification mentioned.
For example I can see somehost1 with HOST UP - Time - Contact - Notification command( notify-host-by-email)
Similarly I can see somehost2 with HOST DOWN - Time - Contact - Notification command( notify-host-by-email)
Please suggest where I am wrong and how I can fix this issue.
