Hi Team,
We have 1700 hosts, with Nagios XI 5.6 version.
We have 28000 services out of this 25000 services checks will happen every10min.
3000 check will happen every 5min.
We have 16core process
we have 15gb ram
we have 200 / partitions.
Does nagiosXI will give any impact on the server/nagios process because of every10 min check for 25000 services and 3000 check for every 5min. server performance any nagioscron jobs delay??
Nagios check interval every 5min for 3000 every 10 min 25000

Re: Nagios check interval every 5min for 3000 every 10 min 2
Nagios takes care of randomizing the time that the checks actually start, that way you do not have 25000 checks starting every 10 minutes exactly. Are you running into a problem with checks not happening?

Hello @GrayLogLearn,
What type of checks are these as some plugins require more CPU resources than others? The RAM looks good, but you may want to bump up the number for CPU Cores. If this is a VM you can add more cores if needed.
If you haven't already read this, here's our guide for increasing performance.
