Cannot receive email alert when service critical

Hi,

I have created a service and I add my contact into it to test alert but it doesn't work to receive the email from Nagios. So I can get email testing from Nagios. and my Nagios version is up to date. Also, I think the email alert is not working with any services.

Is this a new contact that you are setting up, or the default nagiosadmin contact?

If it's a new contact, then you will want to make sure that the new contact is listed as a contact for the service. In your 3rd screenshot, the Service Management screenshot, click the Manage Contacts button, and make sure your contact is in there.

I have added my contact to it and not get any alert from the service. and this's a new contact I have created. any debug please let me know.

Okay, can you download your system profile and PM that to me? Go to Admin -> System Profile -> Download Profile.

Also if you can give me the name of the contact, and the service that went critical, that would also be great.

Thank you for that data. I can see two entries where the service notification processes kicked off, but that is about as far as I can go for email delivery verification. Are you able to see in your SMTP server that the email was sent to the helpdesk group? The one thing that I worry about is that the helpdesk contact's email is using a standard Gmail account. I'm wondering if the notification was filtered as spam.
