Nagios Plugins for Tru64 and OpenVMS

Hi All,

We have Nagios XI installed in our environment and we need to monitor Tru64 and OpenVMS nodes. Could some one please share the information of which plugins are available to monitor the mentioned Operating Systems. I could find a web link(www.sefaz.mt.gov.br/) for Tru64 information but that doesn't open.

Please help here.

Hey @vishal313, welcome to the forums!

Oof! Tru64 and OpenVMS. That's going to require some work. If you have a mixed CPU architecture environment, you will need to compile the agent and plugins at least once for each CPU architecture, and maybe once for each OS...? I'm not entirely sure on that last part. I know OpenVMS is Unix compatible, but I don't know how much that helps in running binaries between Tru64 and OpenVMS.

That's going to be the first place to start. Compiling the plugins and the agent, and making sure that they work in your environment.

Also, the instructions on this page are for various distros of Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris, but maybe some of the instructions will translate to Tru64 and/or OpenVMS.

I was trying to search a direct set of plugins for Tru64 and OpenVMS.
