Upgrading OS impact on NagiosXI

Hi Team,

We have NagiosXI installed on a server with Oracle linux 7.5 version and we are planning to upgrade it to 7.8 version.

Does it have any dependency with NagiosXI or it will continue working normally.

Or incase we need to take any backup before doing the upgrade.

You should be able to perform this OS upgrade inline without any impact.

Hi,

The current operating system is Redhat and we must re-platform to oracle Linux.

Will that be okay as well without any issue?

How can we take backup of all existing configurations and use it later as recovery.

Also incase we are planning to move NagiosXI to a new server how can we do tat without losing any existing setup ad configurations made.
