Hi.
I'm running on version 5.5.7 still.
I'm planing to update to a newer release.
My system is in an offline environment, running on VMware RHEL7 (7.8x64)
I have not decided if we will go for the latest release 5.7 yet, normaly we do wait with the neweste release in case of trouble.
What will be the best upgrade path from 5.5.7 to a newer version - 5.6.x or 5.7.x
Any known problems I should be aware of ?

Did you install via the offline install documentation?
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... onment.pdf
In this case, 5.7.0 is not available at this time, the offline RPM's usually follow the source release by several weeks

Hi, yes I followed the guidelines for the 5.5.7 upgrade last time.
Then I will skip 5.7 version for now, what version do you recommend upgrade from 5.5.7 to version 5.6.x?
