Monitor web page displayed by internet explorer

Post by newdawnccs »

So we are a healthcare facility and we have a bunch of kiosks that display a web page in internet explorer for our nurse call systems. I was wondering if somehow I could monitor if that web page is actually being displayed and alert if it is not...I am already monitoring if internet explorer is running but wanted to make sure that particular web page is being displayed

Hi @newdawnccs,

You can use the Website URL wizard in Nagios XI to easily set this up. You can even check the page for specific words or content. Take a look at the following guide and let me know if you need any assistance.
