citrix xendesktop director user connection failure

Post by G_Deshpande »

Hello,

I would like to monitor 'User connection failure' in citrix xendesktop Director.

Looking to monitor- User Connection Failures
Connection failures over the last 60 minutes. Click the categories next to the total number to view metrics for that type of failure. In the adjacent table, that number is broken out by Delivery Groups. Connection failures includes failures caused by application limits being reached.
Screenshot attached.
I don't see any plug-in to monitor the same.
I am using Nagios XI 5.6.14 version.

Thanks.

I don't have a Citrix environment to test in, but it looks like there is an API:

https://developer-docs.citrix.com/proje ... en/latest/

Do the URLs at https://developer-docs.citrix.com/proje ... -data-sets return XML data? http://{dc-host}/Citrix/Monitor/OData/v4/Data/ConnectionFailureLogs may have what you're looking for. If you can find the information in the API then you could use the XML wizard found in the 5.7.x release of XI.
