Hi Support team.

We are currently running NRPE v2 on the customer host and they have a requirement to upgrade the NRPE v3.
Can you help point me the step by step guide on how do we achieve that.

Base on the thread that i read, It need to be manually compile for AIX version 7.1 and above.

I found this thread https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... f=6&t=8979 but not sure if its for v3 or version 2.
The post was at year 2013.

It looks like that thread would be for version 2 as version 3 was released a few years later. We currently do not have official instructions for AIX 7.x with NRPE, those are now available for our newer cross-platform agent, NCPA.

That said, assuming you have all the build requirements on the server, you can try to compile it from the source. Take a look a the following KB article for more details.
