could not fetch

Post by statusuknown03 »

this is a new turn up of XI trial.

all host have nsclient++ and most now have NCPA installed.

This turn up was created following the migration instructions from nagios Core to XI.

I am seeing could not fetch from server across the board for ALL host and related services.

I have reviewed in depth the support forums, google docs and all other things I've come across trying to resolve this with NO Luck.

Hey @statusuknown03!

Welcome to the forum. :D

Did anything about the server change when you upgraded it to XI? Did the IP address change?

Have you tested the checks from the command line?

Code: Select all

/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_ncpa.py
You may also want to try pinging the hosts from your XI instance as well. Just to see if they are routable.

Code: Select all

ping -c 1 <IP address>
What step did you get stuck on in the guide?
Migrating core to XI
