SNMP trap forwarder

Hello,

We will have a lot of assets that will send trap to our monitoring system.. and we want to centralized some of them on a forwarder before to send the trap on NagiosXI but on nagios XI we will have to keep the asset name and IP as sender of the trap.

How could we do that ?

You can try modifying your trap definitions on the XI server and have them use $A or $aA instead of these:

$R, $r  - Trap hostname (see Note 1)
$aR, $ar - IP address

That's really the only option you have from the XI side.
