passive check - returned error command failed

Hello, i'm trying to start using passive check in some test server.
I need some help because when i submit passive check, via webui or via command line (printf or echo) i get the error command failed.
Passive checks are enabled in config for host and services..
Could someone gime me hints to solve this?
