Dear one reading this,
We are having some troubles with making export of our CCM host hostgroup, service, servicegroup. We now have new nagios and we need export the config to the new one. Does someone have any ideas or tips? We struggle a few days already. I did alot of searching on google and admin manual book of nagios... Does someone have some experience with this?

Re: Export nagios host and services to new nagios
Hi,
Sounds like you are using Nagiso XI. The easiet way to export is to use the backup and restore script.
Backing Up And Restoring Your Nagios XI System
However, the will carry over everything. Others I would just migrate all the configs. The method is similar to a Core to XI migration. Although you will not need to use the import prep tool.

By the way, we going to have a new feature in 5.8, coming later this year, to automate this process!
