Hi there
We have a client running a large Nagios XI install (22,000 hosts, 134,000 service checks), and they are currently seeing a service check latency of around 5-10 seconds. Is there a way to reduce this with this level of hosts/service checks?

Hi Robin,
This is a huge number of "hosts" and "services" for one XI server to handle.
I would recommend adding a 2nd or 3rd XI servers since the number of services is way large.
In the mean time, you could increase CPU and memory.
Also, you could try to optimize the PHP settings to improve the features of Nagios XI on larger systems.
