License falsely expiring and update checks failing

Hi,
The update check in admin shows failed and even though the contract has been renewed, it shows as expiring. If the update check succeeds will the support agreement date update as well? Or do I need to enter the license keys and enterprise keys every year (seems unlikely)?
The proxy settings are correct and I see the proxy port is open.
What is the URL for the upgrade check? Maybe I need to change the whitelist in the proxy config...
