Upgrade PHP 5.4 to 7.4 for Nagios Core 4.4.3 - RHEL7 Install

Is it possible to upgrade the version of PHP from 5.4 to 7.4 for an already running Nagios Core 4.4.3 installation on a RHEL 7 box? What sorts of gotchas should I expect? NagiosQL 3.4 is also installed.

I run Nagios 4.4.6 on Ubuntu 20.04 with PHP 7.4 and it runs just fine.
I just tried to install NagiosQL and it seems to be working fine, the installation went fine but I haven't configured anything in it yet though so can't say for sure that nothing is broken.
