Hello,
I'm using Nagios XI 5.8.2
I would like to add my Firewall: Watchguard M470
I've used the Watchguard wizard.
I'm using snmpV3
Some of the services are getting results:
Bandwidth all ports
Ping
All of those are resulting in this error: UNKNOWN - Non-numeric value found: snmpget: Authentication failure (incorrect password, community or key)
CPU Usage
Active Connections
Received Packets
Sent Packets
Stream Drops
Stream Requests
Total Received Bytes
Total Sent Bytes
I also get this error: UNKNOWN - No info is being retrieved. (on those services)
All port status
Help on how to find the issue will be appreciated,
Regards,
Need help to add Watchguard Firebox m470
Re: Need help to add Watchguard Firebox m470
Hello
While waiting for moderation, I've find out that the issue is only if I use SNMPv3
All check work well on SNMPv2 BUT (there's always a but) V1 and V2 are not secured so I would still like very much some help to make it work on SNMPv3
Best regards,

Hi @mrock42,
When you enabled SNMP on this device, did you set it up for v3? Not sure if the link below is for your exact product but it may be set up either for v1/v2 or v3 (and not both).
WatchGaurd Enable SNMP Polling
Also, can you run the plugin directly from the CLI with the verbose option added (if possible), so we can review the plugin and command arguments. Please redact any sensitive data.
For help on finding the check command, please read:
Nagios XI - How To Test Check Commands From The Command-line
Thanks!
Benjamin

Hello @benjaminsmith,
Thank you for your kind reply!
Yes the Firebox was first setup in snmpv3 (in fact, I've used the exact same link you gave me
)
I'll have a look at you page about the plugin today for sure.
I'll be back with the results,
Best regards,
Mike
