Hello!
I have attempted to change my notification template (either by using the default or creating a new one, saving it while make sure the Set these notification messages as default for all users is checked. But when I get alerts it never shows the new format for either host or services.
What might I be missing? (and yes I am licensed for Enterprise)
(Running 5.8.3)
I did notice late in the day as I was poking around in Nagios I noticed that when I went to my account notification messages that it was still the default and then when I changed mine it started sending out correctly with the updated changes.
So here is the question: When you have an alert whats the criteria for which one it decides to use the format under my account versus under the admin drop down?

Re: Changes in Notification template not taking effect
Hi,
Every user can define their own Notification Preferences, Notification Methods and Notification Messages.
Nagios XI has the ability to allow administrators to push out any of these settings to users, as well as defining the settings for new users.
The below KB article will helps explain email notification settings:

Hope this helps!!
