UNKNOWN - check_nwc_health timed out after 45 seconds

Hello all,

My organization just added some new switches into Nagios XI and when I look at the uplink ports to the added switches, each one of them has an UNKNOWN status on them. I would like to know if anyone has dealt with this situation before and if they ever found a solution to it.

The uplink ports are SFP: 48x10G + 4x40G + 2x100G Ethernet Module
It's basically 4x10 gig lanes combined to make a 40 gig lane. Not sure if that has to do with the problem at hand.
We have two uplink ports.
They are all Cisco Nexus 9K.

Would love to get some feedback.
