How do I stop NagiosXI notifications form sending the IP addresses.
I think that’s a security risk..
I took out the line that says IP address in here and did an update but it hasn’t changed.
Thanks

Open Admin -> Notification Management, and edit the notification text.
Once you do this, you'll want to "deploy" the notification preferences to the contacts/users affected.

Re: notifications too chatty
ok so I changed notification messages to this -
admin --> notification message and took out the IP address line.
Then I went to notification settings management -- > notification preferences
its all greyed out so I do not have that option available I believe.
Curses Batman .. foiled again.
Appreciate your help

Are you logged in as an administrator?
In order to change settings that affect all users, you need to be logged in as an administrator, e.g. nagiosadmin.
See explanation here.
