status DOWN but it is not

Incomplete status
A few of my servers say they are DOWN but they are not.
Nagios kicks out false positives as well.
The one thing that is consistent is the status to the far right of the entry.
it says "The node ("

and that's it.

If you click the icon on the Hosts status page to the host status details , it says the same.
the host is DOWN , status being (orange !) and then "The node(

You can force a check , that will pass over and over but it still says "DOWN" and "The Node( "

How are you doing?

Could you please upload screenshots of the issue hosts / services?

To further investigate the issue, could you please send me the "profile.zip" and the exact name of the host and services having issue(s):
Nagios XI GUI > Admin > System Config > System Profile > Click "Download Profile"

If you're unable to generate the the profile through the web interface,
please try generating it from the command line by running these commands as root:

rm -rf /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/components/profile*​​

/usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/components/getprofile.sh SUPPORT

Thanks for your post.

I found there were duplicate entries for the same 4 hosts which is not easy to see wading through the pages.

But thanks, we are back to normal operations now.
