Custom Host/Service summary status

Hi,

Is it possible to configure Custom Host/Service summary status for specific hosts? Current default status displays for all the hosts and services to NagiosXI.

I've attached screenshot of default status but I would like to display certain hosts/services in there.

Hi @Bala.Mutyam,

To customize that, it would require a code change, but I could submit a feature request on your behalf.

Also, there are a couple of other visualizations that you might find helpful for viewing status on specific hosts or services. Take a look a the Minemap and BBMap (Home > Maps).

These are dashlets as well, so you can add them to your custom dashboards.

Thanks for the update.

I don't know how it was done but a custom dashboard was setup on our old NagiosXI server. I'm trying to replicate the same on our new Nagios XI for our support as they like the dashboard.

Unfortunately Minemap and BBMap not fulfil our requirements.

Is there a some sort of plugin I can use to get the custom dashlets?

Please send a screenshot of the old one so we can see what it shows.

Maybe they are using the Custom URL Dashlet and pulling it from a page they wrote?

Hi,

I've managed to resolve it. I could add custom host status/service status via Home -> Hostgroup Summary -> Click on hostgroup needed and it will display both host and service status for the hostgroup and i just added them to dashboard.
