NagiosCore had Extra Actions button

NagiosCore had an Extra Actions icon that let you go directly to the IP address as a URL. Click it and get the web interface on the device.

In NagiosXI is there a way I can click on something next to the host in the host listing and go right to the http://HOSTADDRESS of the device?

Even the Advanced>Show in NagiosCore does not have the Extra Actions icon . Thanks!

Hi,

Here's a way to do that but it takes a little work.

When you are defining your host click on the Misc Settings tab and add the
value "http://$HOSTADDRESS$" to the "Action URL":

No when you look at the host on the "Host Status" page there will
be a "play" button that will take you to that url:

I ended up adding that to my generic_host template for "Host Template" so now all my hosts have the play button and I can override the http:// with something else for a particular hostgroup if needed. like https:// or whatever
